Other Structures Coverage

Applies to structures that are not physically a part of your home but are still part of the total property.

Other Structures Coverage

Found in "Coverage B" in your homeowner’s policy, Other Structures Coverage applies to structures that are not physically a part of your home but are still part of the total property. This includes fencing, detached garages, swimming pools, sheds, and more. A standard policy will set the limit of Coverage B to 10% of Coverage A (Dwelling Coverage) at minimum, but higher limits can be obtained. Coverage B will cover the same perils as Coverage A on a homeowner’s policy with the same endorsements and exclusions where applicable.
