Hazard

A Hazard is a situation or circumstance that increases the probability or severity of a loss. For example, faulty or exposed wiring is a hazard that can increase the likelihood of a fire, and water or mold damage to the structure of a building is a hazard that increases the likelihood or possible severity of a collapse.
